Whilst wandering the floor of the LA Auto Show today, I saw a number of funny things, and the majority of them will be in the video going up first thing tomorrow morning.
However, I had to screen cap this scene, and share it now because it’s just too perfect.
Old Alfas are known to offer their owners the chance to get down on bended knee with great frequency, and FCA hopes that new Alfas won’t follow suit. But with the recent news of delays in production, and speculation on the financial woes of the brand, scenes like this one could continue play out regularly.
The level of bummed out that the guys overseeing the operation are, it actually bums me out as well. Poor Alfa, can’t even get through the debut of their hot new car without having to jack it up.

What would they even need to do? If it’s at a show it’s not like it needs to run. The only thing I can think of is a flat tire, but then how the hell did a parked car get a flat tire?

Full irony would be if it was leaking oil.

What was up with the totally fucked up paint on the Alfa and the dirty ass tires? In the reveal video when the lights hit the paint you could see tons of buffer holograms and what appeared to be compounding haze. And obviously nobody bothered to dress the tires.

Probaby going to plug it into a battery tender so it can have a working battery during the show. Cause you don’t wanna leave the hood popped and cords everywhere.

Or it’s already rusted.

It is already rusted, that’s why it’s red. It actually left the factory in a nice shade of blue.
